Travel, collaborate, make an impact

Discover the beauty of Cusco while helping our furry friends find loving homes. Whether you want to volunteer, adopt a dog, or simply enjoy a peaceful stay on our farm, we welcome you to join us.

We transform the farm into a charming sanctuary while caring for abandoned dogs.

Through our dedicated team of volunteers, we work tirelessly to create a welcoming environment where these dogs can thrive. From grooming and feeding to providing medical care and socialization, we ensure that each dog receives the attention they need to heal and find happiness once again.

But our work doesn’t stop there. We also focus on transforming the farm into a picturesque haven, where nature and tranquility meet. Volunteers get the opportunity to join us in creating beautiful landscapes, maintaining gardens, and designing comfortable spaces for both our furry friends and visitors.

I had the most beautiful experience. I spent 20 days living at the Hacienda and I loved it. Met so many people from all over the world. The most gorgeous scenery and of course all the dogs are lovely. Luis was a great host and a better friend. I can't wait to return. Love to the whole family.

My stay at Luis' farm was excellent. I've made life long friends and will definitely be returning in the future. Luis was a great host, very accommodating and made the whole experience very welcoming and fun. I helped chop wood, paint art on the walls, brush the horses (opportunities to ride), played music, went on a few nice walks, explored the woods nearby, cooked for other volunteers, walked the dogs and even gave some a hair cut. These are just some of the things I got to do, there is opportunities for everyone. Cusco isn't far so you can go on a day trip to the city. There are grocery shops nearby and public transport to Luis' farm from Cusco is very simple. Overall, an amazing experience. I highly recommend. Thanks again Luis.

Volunteering with Luis was very special and interesting. During our trip to South America, we stopped for a week to volunteer in a beautiful, eco-friendly place, with kind and funny people, 18 insanely cute dogs, two horses and a friendly donkey. We worked on a property in the nearby forest doing simple jobs such as gathering wood, collecting soil and stones, light maintenance work, cooking and building with wood - for those who were interested. It was fun and refreshing to get to know the people who run the place and the other volunteers. Highly recommend to those looking for a change of scenery

Greta and I spend a wonderful week at Luis‘ hacienda. The place is beautiful and good to relax! We had lots of fun with the other volunteers and spending time the dogs was great! The work was also good: we carried water, helped in the forest and took care of the horses. We would definitely recommend you to go to Luis‘ place!

We had the most amazing stay at Luis' casa!!! We met some amazing people, ate a lot of very tasty food and cuddled endlessly with the many dogs at the house. The work was enjoyable, the house was very comfy and homey and there were a lot of activities to do on our days off. We feel very lucky to have been able to stay in Luis' house surrounded by beautiful nature and meeting beautiful people!! Thank you Luis ❤️

I spent at week at the Hacienda, truly one of the highlights of my trip that I will never forget. You'll have plenty of time to relax and explore the beautiful surroundings. I wish I could have stayed longer! Just remember to bring plenty of cash with you since Luis has contacts for tours near his house. All the dogs are lovely and have such big personalities, I miss Grinch and Coco very much. Luis - thankyou for being an excellent host, I had a brilliant time and wish you all the best for the future.
